Traffic Flow **Starting Sept 2nd**
Hello:
Mill City and SCSD are happy to announce that our community received a "Safe Routes to School" Grant from the state. This grant lets the City build wider sidewalks for our students to use when they walk to school. The sidewalks will also help keep all of our citizens safe as they walk around town.
Construction on this project is still happening and there will be new traffic patterns during pick up and drop off for the first two weeks of school. Staff will be outside to help with traffic and answer questions. Below is a map of the pick up and drop off pattern for SES for these two weeks.
Here is the traffic plan for Evergreen Street. Please know that Evergreen Street between 4th Avenue and 2nd Avenue will be one-way. Traffic will go from west to east. This will start at 7 AM and end at 4 PM on school days. This is to help with traffic, as well as to keep the construction workers safe as they work on the sidewalk along the baseball field. If you want to access SES, you must use SW 5th Avenue or SW 4th Avenue.Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
